Émilie Katharine Atelier was founded in 2018 by Emily K. Hebing. As a young girl who's dream was to become a major fashion designer, Emily set out to make her mark on the industry as soon as possible. Receiving commissions early on from local schools in Nevada, such as Saint Anthony of Padua School and Bishop Gorman High School, her dream was already being manifested. In addition to this, Emily crafted many pieces to add to her label's collection and also competed in many prestigious competitions, such as Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and YoungArts, winning several awards in the former. She has also attended programs at Savannah College of Art and Design, Parsons School of Design, as well as Rhode Island School of Design, gaining further experience by working alongside leaders in the fashion industry. Emily continues to evolve her label and push her designs further, gathering new inspirations and techniques, overall moving Émilie Katharine Atelier into the future while still referencing the past.
A recurring symbol used by Émilie Katharine Atelier is the dahlia flower. Growing up, this flower was a favorite of designer and founder, Emily K. Hebing. She would often include them in her designs, or use them as inspiration for various designs. As a result, the dahlia flower has been adopted as a leading symbol and emblem in the Émilie Katharine Atelier label.
